Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care - $2,460 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Walla Walla, Washington, working with a top healthcare client.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and successful completion of the NPT exam.
• Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Minimum one year of clinical experience.
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) or actively pursuing licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Other requirements may be determined by the client facility.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, evaluating medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and potential for rehabilitation.
• Establish and administer treatment programs with goals tailored to the patient’s capacity and tolerance under physician direction.
• Set realistic, achievable goals, document patient condition, and educate patients and families on appropriate physical therapy methods.
• Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet therapy goals.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
