Travel Physical Therapist, Acute Care - $2,283 per week

About the role

Anders Group is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting July 20, 2026 at Providence Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in an acute care hospital setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient care coordination.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Current license to practice physical therapy in Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in acute care settings preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and modalities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• ACSM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) preferred.
• Experience with telehealth services a plus.

Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

8 hours per day shift.
