Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care - $2,066 per week

Job Description & Requirements

Supplemental Health Care is seeking experienced Physical Therapists for acute care hospital contract assignments in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The position offers a 13-week contract with the possibility of extension, starting ASAP.

  • 40 hours per week
  • Shift: 8 hours, days
  • Employment Type: Travel

Qualifications

  • Current Physical Therapy licensure in Alabama
  • Graduation from an accredited school of Physical Therapy
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum 1-year experience as a Physical Therapist
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work with patients, families, and facility personnel

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide PT treatment and patient care according to facility guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers
  • Delegate and supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians (when required)

Compensation

The compensation package includes a $1,900 - $2,066 per week base pay, subject to confirmation. There is also a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
