Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care - $2,061 per week

About the role

Supplemental Health Care is seeking experienced Physical Therapists for acute care hospital contract assignments in Boston, Massachusetts. Start date: ASAP. Assignment duration: 13 weeks (with a 26‑week contract possibility of extension). Employment type: Travel, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT treatment and patient care according to facility guidelines.
• Use effective communication skills when working with patients, families, and other caregivers.
• May be asked to delegate and supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapy licensure in Massachusetts.
• Graduation from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 1‑year experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and facility personnel.

Pay

Compensation: $1,854 – $2,061 per week (based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week). Pay package includes tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Compensation depends on various factors including qualifications and experience.
