Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
  • Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
  • BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC

Pay

The Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

  • The Kern River Parkway Trail runs for more than 30 miles through the city, and Sequoia National Forest is about 2 hours away for hiking and mountain trips.
  • Buck Owens' Crystal Palace and the Fox Theater are established local venues, and downtown Bakersfield provides dining and entertainment in a central urban setting.
  • The city also offers access to the Panorama Vista Preserve and Hart Memorial Park, with Los Angeles reachable in about 2 hours for additional weekend options.
