About the role

Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an adult outpatient assignment in Juneau, Alaska.

Schedule

• 13-week contract beginning 09/22/2026
• 40 hours per week
• 8-hour day shifts (08:00–16:00)

Responsibilities

• Perform general Physical Therapy evaluations and treatments that impact patients’ functional abilities
• Oversee and direct the work of Physical Therapist Assistants and other designated staff
• Implement, supervise, and modify therapy plans of care based on patient response to optimize outcomes
• Review clinical records, attend care conferences, and collaborate with team members to ensure proper care
• Develop and conduct patient education and therapy programs tailored to patient and family needs
• Maintain cleanliness of clinical space and adhere to PT regulatory and practice standards

Requirements

• Entry-level qualifying master’s or doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, or graduate from an APTA-approved program with 2 years of proven work and Continuing Education experience
• Active Alaska Physical Therapist license at time of submission
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Minimum 1 year of experience in adult outpatient rehabilitation
• Flu vaccination required
