About the role

The travel Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, provide treatments, document progress, and educate patients and caregivers. The facility offers 24-hour emergency care, inpatient and swing-bed care, imaging, primary care, pharmacy, and on-site physical therapy, serving both the local community and visitors to the area.

The candidate must live at least 90 miles from the facility, and the facility may cancel up to three shifts during a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide treatments and document progress
• Educate patients and caregivers
• Address likely areas including:
  • Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
  • Sports- and recreation-related injuries
  • Postoperative rehabilitation
  • Balance, mobility, strength, and functional limitations
  • Pain management and injury prevention
  • General conditioning and wellness education

Schedule

• Five 8-hour day shifts per week
• Typical hours: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch
• Shift: 8 hours, days
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 09/14/2026
• 40 hours per week
