Travel Physical Therapist - $2,985 per week

About the role

MetaSense, Inc. is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 12-week assignment starting September 7, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

• Interprets physician order, evaluates patient and formulates a treatment plan to reach long and short-term goals.
• Evaluates patient's response to treatment and modifies plan to fit current needs.
• Involves in discharge planning of patients; writes and instructs patients in a home program.
• Documents treatment results and patient's response to treatment in the medical records.
• Depending on clinical experience, supervises and assists students during their clinical rotations.
• Maintains and cleans equipment used by the department.

Requirements

• Oklahoma license preferred.
• Knowledge of the principles, methods, practices, techniques, equipment and procedures used in physical therapy.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology sufficient to evaluate and treat patients.
• Knowledge of equipment and the ability to adjust equipment to suit patient's needs.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with staff and excellent communication skills in guiding patients to assume responsibility for their treatment and development.
• Knowledge of computers.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current license from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Physical Therapist.
• Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire.

Skills

• Acute care and Trauma experience required, Travel preferred but NOT required.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

40 hours per week, 8 hours per shift, days shift.
