Physical Therapist Outpatient in Chesapeake, Virginia. This contract position involves treating outpatient orthopedic injuries within a clinic setting, collaborating with a team of therapists. The role requires evaluating and treating patients, communicating treatment plans effectively to medical teams, and providing reports on patient progress to in-house and specialized surgeons.

Responsibilities

• Treat outpatient orthopedic injuries in a clinic setting while working in conjunction with a team of therapists
• Complete evaluation and treatment of patients with musculoskeletal injuries
• Communicate effectively with medical teams regarding treatment plans and patient progress
• Provide assistance to colleagues in identifying clinical issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy
• Current license for the state of Virginia
• 0 years minimum experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Outpatient orthopedic experience
• Manual therapy techniques
• Experience treating 14-16 patients per day
• Experience practicing as a physical therapist for 2 years
• Experience treating strains, sprains, and fractures

Schedule

Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week
