Travel Physical Therapist - $2,899 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a position in Milford, Massachusetts. This is a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week, working 8-hour shifts. The position requires 6 months of experience but is open to new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• BLS certification
• State-specific licensing
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply

Skills

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
