Travel Physical Therapist - $2,845 per week

About the role

Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a traveling Physical Therapist where you’ll help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in their homes
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARCC
• CPR certification
• Reliable transportation
• Current driver's license
• Agency-required liability insurance

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
• Experience working with a diverse population
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Pleasant Hill offers convenient access to both outdoor recreation and Bay Area attractions. Downtown Pleasant Hill features restaurants and shops near Crescent Drive, and the city is about 25 miles from San Francisco for weekend trips and urban amenities. Briones Regional Park is about 6 miles away with hiking and biking trails, and Mount Diablo State Park is about 15 miles away with summit views and camping options. The Pleasant Hill/Contra Costa Centre BART station provides regional transit access, and nearby Walnut Creek offers Broadway Plaza shopping and the Lesher Center for the Arts.
