Travel Physical Therapist - $2,800 per week

About the role

LanceSoft is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an outpatient assignment in Poughkeepsie, New York. The role focuses on neuro, vestibular, pelvic, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, serving patients with conditions such as stroke, MS, Parkinson’s, weakness, and gait disturbances. Full rehab services (PT, OT, Speech) are provided, with approximately 8–10 patients per day. A Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will have their own caseload, and the rehab staff is self-sufficient, handling tasks like bringing in patients, stocking supplies, and managing linens. No double-booking is scheduled, and time is built in for documentation.

Work site: 45 Reade Place, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.

Schedule

• 13-week assignment starting ASAP
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts on varying days
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–6:00 PM (rotating shifts with 2 later and 3 earlier shifts, e.g., Mon & Wed 9:30 AM–6:00 PM, Tues, Thurs & Fri 7:00 AM–4:30 PM) and Friday 7:00 AM–4:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient physical therapy for neuro, vestibular, pelvic, and musculoskeletal conditions
• Manage a caseload of approximately 8–10 patients per day
• Collaborate with a PTA who has their own caseload
• Perform rehab staff duties such as bringing in patients, stocking supplies, and laundering linens
• Complete documentation during built-in time

Requirements

• Active New York state PT license
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
• Minimum 2 years of outpatient experience
• Experience in neuro and/or pelvic therapy
• BLS certification
• Business casual attire with closed-toe footwear (no scrubs)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in both pelvic and neuro therapy
• Familiarity with ReDoc EMR (Cerner is available but not extensively used)
