Travel Physical Therapist - $2,736 per week

About the role

Travel Physical Therapist position in Dunedin, Florida. Assignment starts 08/16/2026, lasts 20 weeks, with 40 hours per week on an 8-hour day shift. Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide home health physical therapy services, including OASIS documentation (preferred).
• Assess and treat cardiopulmonary, orthopedic, neurological, oncology, and geriatric patient populations.
• Ensure patient safety, injury prevention, medication education, and development of home exercise programs.
• Utilize assistive devices such as crutches, gait belts, walkers, hospital beds, oxygen delivery equipment, sliding boards, slings, and collars.
• Travel between patient homes using a reliable personal vehicle.

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) state license.
• Minimum 2 years of Home Health Physical Therapy experience required.
• Home Health experience mandatory; OASIS experience/training preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and willingness to travel between patient homes.
• COVID-19 vaccination (or approved exemption) required.
