Travel Physical Therapist - $2,635 per week

About the role

Physical Therapist (PT) specializing in Inpatient (IP) care is sought in Waimea, Hawaii. The position involves evaluating and treating patients across inpatient and outpatient settings, including acute care, ICU, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient clinics. The PT will work independently to provide thorough patient care, including mobility progression and discharge planning, with a focus on diverse diagnoses and clinical environments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat approximately 5 to 15 patients daily
• Conduct sessions scheduled every 30-45 minutes or one-hour new evaluations
• Work across various hospital-based departments including ER, ICU, Med/Surg, and outpatient clinics
• Provide mobility progression and discharge planning
• Manage diverse diagnoses and clinical environments

Required Qualifications

• Certification as a Physical Therapist
• Hawaii PT license (must obtain as soon as possible)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
• At least 1 year of experience in inpatient physical therapy
• Ability to work in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Willingness to work in high-flow clinical environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in rural or diverse clinical settings
• ICU or acute care experience
• Familiarity with discharge planning
• Ability to independently manage outpatient diagnoses

Schedule

Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week. Start date: 09/28/2026. Duration: 13 weeks.
