A physical therapist works closely with patients to improve their movement and manage pain. The role involves assessing the patient’s health history, diagnosing their functional and movement issues, and developing and implementing a specialized plan of care.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Mexico
• At least 1 year of experience in physical therapy
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day shift

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of therapeutic exercise techniques

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
