Travel Physical Therapist - $2,521 per week

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a skilled nursing unit setting, requiring 1 year of experience and BLS certification along with an applicable PT license.

Responsibilities

• LTC/SNF care setting located on a 19-bed skilled nursing unit within an orthopedic hospital campus
• Optional acute care coverage in the joint connection unit
• Days shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
• Weekend coverage required; no holiday coverage required
• Must be able to cover all floors of the hospital as needed
• Utilizes MEDITECH for charting
• Works alongside PTAs and a rehab aide as part of the therapy team

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• Physical Therapist License, Temporary License through the West Virginia Board of Physical Therapists, or PT Compact License required if applicable

Qualifications

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Returning WVU Medicine travelers must have taken a 2-year break before reapplying, and cumulative time within WVU facilities cannot exceed 1 year without a 2-year break
