Travel Physical Therapist - $2,485 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Reno, Nevada. The position starts 11/01/2026, lasts 13 weeks, requires 40 hours per week on 8‑hour night shifts. TotalMed Allied is a Top Ten travel nursing and healthcare staffing agency that places therapists nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team‑focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience (1 year preferred; new grads encouraged)
• Current BLS certification
• State‑specific Physical Therapist license
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, and to bend, lean or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology

Qualifications

• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience (as noted in requirements note)
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
