About the role
Join a premier healthcare facility in Western Colorado as a Physical Therapist Traveler. In this role, you will evaluate patients and develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for a variety of diagnoses in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Your primary objective will be to enhance patients' strength, range of motion, balance, safety, and overall function. Additionally, you will educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.
This is a 13-week contract position working 40 hours per week, 5-8 hour days: Monday/Friday for Inpatient at Valley View Hospital (Glenwood Springs, CO) and Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday for Outpatient Clinic (Carbondale, CO).
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and create individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions for a variety of diagnoses.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide education to patients and caregivers regarding exercises and safety.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in physical therapy.
- Current Colorado PT licensure or compact for Colorado.
- At least two years of PT experience; 3-5 years preferred.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
