Travel Physical Therapist - $2,458 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Waldorf, Maryland. We are looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate travel opening. As a PT, you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply
• For an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing
• Physical Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty
• PTs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology
• BLS certification required
• 2 years of experience preferred (may be required before beginning assignment)
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 38 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

8 hours, days. Duration: 13 weeks. Start Date: 09/28/2026.
