About the role
Pulse Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting on September 28, 2026, in Northport, Alabama.
Responsibilities
- Treatment of patients in an inpatient and acute-care setting using the Meditech EMR system.
- Provide patient care including assessment, treatment planning, and evaluation.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during all procedures.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
- Manage patient load of approximately 6 patients per day.
Requirements
- Current license to practice physical therapy in the state of Alabama.
- Experience in inpatient and acute-care settings preferred.
- Knowledge of Meditech EMR system.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- ACSM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) preferred.
- Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).

Pay
