Travel Physical Therapist - $2,368 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 15‑week assignment in Anchorage, Alaska, starting 10/26/2026. The role involves working 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts in an acute care setting, providing evaluation, plan‑of‑care development, and treatment for diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following facility guidelines
• Understand and comply with the state PT board’s rules and regulations
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify the plan of care as indicated based on patient condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of Physical Therapist experience (1 year preferred; new graduates encouraged)
• Current BLS certification
• Valid state‑specific PT license (Alaska)
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
