Travel Physical Therapist - $2,350 per week
About the Role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an immediate opening in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania. This is a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts. The role is ideal for a Physical Therapist (PT) with at least 1 year of experience; exceptional candidates with 6 months of experience may also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting.
- Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
- Bill within the respective setting, following facility guidelines.
- Comply with the respective PT board's rules and regulations within the state.
- Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
- Understand and recommend adaptive equipment.
- Modify the plan of care based on the patient's condition.
- Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks.
- Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- BLS certification and state-specific licensing.
- Ability to stand, walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
Pay
Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
