About the role
Physical Therapist (PT) specializing in Inpatient (IP) services for a facilities rehabilitation unit located in an outpatient setting. This role involves providing specialized physical therapy to patients recovering from various diseases or disabling conditions, primarily focusing on physical restoration following strokes, motor vehicle accidents, or similar events. The position is scheduled to start on 10/05/2026 and continue through 01/02/2027.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized physical therapy to patients recovering from diseases or disabling conditions such as strokes and motor vehicle accidents.
- Contribute to a multidisciplinary team comprising physicians, rehabilitation nurses, occupational therapists, recreational therapists, speech and language pathologists, dietitians, social workers, and other specialists.
- Restore physical function and aid patient recovery in an outpatient rehabilitation setting.
Requirements
- Certification in Physical Therapy (PT).
- Valid state licensure.
- Outpatient experience.
- Must be licensed and eligible to work in the designated area.
Qualifications
- 0 years of experience required.
- Experience working in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting (preferred).
- Familiarity with multidisciplinary teams in a rehabilitation environment (preferred).
Schedule
- Days shift, 8 hours per day.
- Minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Duration: 13 weeks (10/05/2026 – 01/02/2027).
