About the role
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to provide exceptional care in accordance with state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines. This position involves patient evaluation, development of individualized treatment plans, and the delivery of direct therapy to restore function and mobility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to patient wellness and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Screen, evaluate, and treat patients as appropriate.
- Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans of care.
- Document services accurately and in a timely manner.
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and Rehabilitation Technicians according to practice acts.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams and families to enhance patient care.
- Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT).
- Active state Physical Therapy license (or ability to obtain).
- Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient needs.
Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- 8-hour day shifts
- 13-week assignment
- Start date: ASAP
Pay
Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
