MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Burke, Virginia.

Schedule

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours: 40 hours per week (8‑hour shift)
• Employment Type: Travel

Requirements

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and successful completion of the NPTE
• Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Minimum one year of clinical experience
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist (or in the process of obtaining it)
• Current CPR certification
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services and provide direct patient care to evaluate medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and rehabilitation potential.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals based on patient capacity and tolerance, under physician direction.
• Set realistic, achievable goals, document patient condition, and educate patients and families on appropriate physical therapy methods.
• Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet therapy goals.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
