About the role
A travel Home Health Physical Therapist is needed for a 13-week assignment starting July 10, 2026, in Cranston, Rhode Island.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in their homes
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Document patient care and treatment sessions accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Rhode Island
- At least 1 year of recent clinical experience in home health or related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Skills
- Proficient in using electronic medical records systems
- Knowledge of home health care protocols and standards
- Ability to adapt to different patient needs and environments

Pay
Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
