About the role
The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans according to the patient’s needs, goals, and physician direction. This role involves the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients. The therapist ensures the design of functional treatment programs that enable effective return to community activities and serves as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers.
Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
- Document medical records in a clear, concise, and timely manner following state, federal, and clinic guidelines.
- Ensure care provision under signed, valid physician orders, maintaining compliance with insurance approvals.
- Participate in student programs, fostering a positive learning environment and providing supervision.
- Actively pursue professional development opportunities to enhance skills and competencies.
- Adhere to discipline-specific state practice acts and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
- Engage with organizational performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.
Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
- At least 6 months of outpatient clinical experience.
- CPR certification required.
Schedule
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, structured with a 5x8.0 schedule.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
