About the role
This role provides direct patient care in the evaluation and treatment of outpatients. This position may work at any site supported by therapy services, including any satellite outpatient locations. It may also involve direct patient care for inpatients, including those in the ER, acute care, or going home from PACU. Participation in the weekend holiday inpatient rotation is possible. Pelvic floor experience is a plus but not required. The primary focus is outpatient physical therapy.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat outpatients in a variety of settings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Participate in weekend holiday inpatient rotations (when available)
- Provide pelvic floor therapy (if applicable)
Requirements
- Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Vermont
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred
- Pelvic floor experience a plus but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours and shift schedules
- Pass a background check and drug screening
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current certification as a Physical Therapist
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are varied and rotating, typically 4x10-hour shifts, starting at 07:00:00 and ending at 17:00:00.
