Travel Physical Therapist - $2,203 per week

TotalMed Allied is a Top Ten travel nursing and healthcare staffing agency that places therapists across the U.S. They are seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Delaware, Ohio. The position is full‑time travel (40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts).

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following facility guidelines
• Understand and comply with the state PT board’s rules and regulations
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of physical therapist experience; 1 year preferred (exceptional candidates with appropriate background may be considered with 6 months)
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
• Current BLS certification
• Valid state‑specific PT license
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Additional certifications may be required before starting the assignment
