Travel Physical Therapist - $2,178 per week
About the role
The Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with the patients' needs and physician directions. Responsibilities include the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs for effective community activity return. The role also involves educating patients, families, students, coworkers, and self, while upholding the organization’s Mission Statement and Core Values.
Responsibilities
- Completes comprehensive evaluations and develops appropriate treatment plans and goals focused on discharge progress.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to address barriers to discharge and ensures timely training and equipment trialing.
- Effectively manages individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions based on patient care needs.
- Maintains clear, concise, accurate, and timely medical record documentation in compliance with guidelines.
- Participates in the student program, providing a positive learning environment for students.
- Creates a professional development plan and actively pursues continuing education and professional growth.
- Adheres to discipline-specific State Practice Acts and maintains professional licensure in good standing.
- Actively participates in patient and professional advocacy efforts in the community.
- Demonstrates awareness of organizational performance improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
- Must hold a valid, current State license.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience, with acute inpatient experience preferred.

Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
This position follows a Day 5x8.0 schedule.
