Travel Physical Therapist position in Meridian, Mississippi. Start date: October 19, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. 40 hours per week, 8‑hour shifts. Employment type: travel.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, providing direct patient care to evaluate medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, restrictions, and rehabilitation potential.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals based on patient capacity and tolerance under physician direction.
• Set realistic and achievable patient goals, document patient condition, and educate patients and families on appropriate physical therapy methods.
• Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy with passed NPTE.
• Graduate of an accredited school.
• Minimum one year of experience.
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) or actively in the process of obtaining licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Other requirements as determined by the client facility.

Pay

Weekly pay via direct deposit; pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
