Travel Physical Therapist assignment in Tucson, Arizona. Start date 09/14/2026; 13-week contract, 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and passed the NPTE
• Graduated from an accredited school
• Minimum one year of experience
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or actively applying for current state licensure
• Current CPR certification
• Other requirements as determined by the client facility

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, provide direct patient care, establish functional capabilities and limitations, and determine rehabilitation potential
• Establish and administer treatment programs with specific goals per physician direction
• Set realistic, achievable goals for patients; document patient condition; educate patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods
• Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient
• Provide skilled physical therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders
• Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate and modify care to meet physical therapy intervention goals
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient
