About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide high-quality care in an outpatient and acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in orthopedic conditions, as well as a diverse range of patient diagnoses.

Responsibilities

  • Administer physical therapy treatments to patients with a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions.
  • Conduct evaluations and design personalized treatment plans for both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and rehabilitation exercises.

Qualifications

  • Current Oregon Physical Therapist license (may be obtained during the application process).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of outpatient experience is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Schedule

  • 13-week assignment starting 09/14/2026.
  • 40 hours per week, four 10-hour shifts (8:00 AM start time).
  • Flexible scheduling: Tuesday through Friday or Monday through Thursday.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Work Environment

  • Outpatient setting located in a regional athletic club.
  • Business casual attire required; no denim permitted.
  • Department-specific orientation on the first day.

Additional Details

  • Caseload primarily consists of orthopedic patients with a blend of acute care and outpatient responsibilities.
  • Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 4 shifts for assignments of 13 weeks or longer, and up to 3 shifts for shorter assignments.
