Travel Physical Therapist - $2,146 per week

About the role

Synergy Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 31, 2026, located in Decatur, Illinois. The shift is 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in a hospital setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Current license to practice physical therapy in the state of Illinois.
• At least two years of clinical experience in physical therapy.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Skills

• Knowledge of various physical therapy modalities.
• Experience with patient education and discharge planning.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week, subject to confirmation. There is also a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

The schedule is 5x8 days, 8:00 AM - 16:00 PM.
