Travel Physical Therapist - $2,138 per week

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist who is a new graduate to join our team. This role involves providing quality patient care through evaluations, treatment plans, and rehabilitation interventions for a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct gross motor assessments and fall risk assessments.
• Implement treatment plans for various orthopedic conditions, including total joint replacements, TMJ dysfunction, and others.
• Provide post-operative care for rotator cuff repairs and facilitate non-surgical interventions for other musculoskeletal issues.
• Carry out interventions for conditions such as plantar fasciitis, osteoporosis, and osteoarthritis.
• Manage patient cases involving generalized low back pain, fractures, disc herniation, and carpal tunnel syndrome.
• Evaluate and treat patients with calf strains, Achilles tendonitis, and ACL tears.

Requirements

• A valid Physical Therapist license is required.
• This is a 13-week contract position.

Qualifications

We are looking for a new graduate Physical Therapist with a passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence. No prior experience is necessary, but candidates must have completed their education and be ready to start immediately.

Skills

Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. Proficiency in using medical software and equipment is also preferred.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with an AM shift consisting of 5 x 8-hour shifts per week, totaling 40 hours.
