Travel Physical Therapist - $2,133 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Yakima, Washington. The position requires 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience; candidates with six months of relevant experience and an appropriate background may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following facility guidelines
• Understand and comply with the state PT board’s rules and regulations
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify the plan of care as indicated based on the patient’s condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum six months of physical therapist experience (new graduates encouraged to apply)
• Current BLS certification
• Valid state‑specific PT license
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Additional certifications may be required before starting the assignment

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
