About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality Physical Therapist for a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role involves 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts and is classified as a travel position.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, including evaluating their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and restrictions.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific, measurable goals determined by the patient’s capacity and tolerance, under physician direction.
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients, document and record their condition, and educate patients and families on appropriate physical therapy methods.
• Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE.
• Graduated from an accredited school.
• Minimum one year's experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) or proactively in the process of obtaining licensure for the current state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.
