About the role
Focus Staff is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract in Farmville, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services in accordance with patient needs and treatment plans.
- Assess patients' physical condition and develop individualized treatment programs.
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers as needed.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a PT setting.
- Valid Virginia License.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current registration as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
- Experience in outpatient, home health, or pediatric settings preferred.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR).
