Travel Physical Therapist - $1,995 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The position is full-time (40 hours per week) with day shifts (8 hours).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
• Bill within the respective setting, following facility guidelines.
• Comply with the respective PT board's rules and regulations for the state.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
• Understand and utilize adaptive equipment.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care, modifying it as indicated based on the patient's condition.
• Use Medical Center computer systems in the performance of daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Current BLS certification and state-specific licensing.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods without difficulty.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
