About the role
AHS Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting immediately in Meridian, Mississippi.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure patient care coordination
Requirements
- Current license to practice physical therapy in Mississippi
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Pass a background check and drug screening
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Skills
- Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR)
- Knowledgeable in Medicare and Medicaid regulations
- Experience with long-term care facilities preferred
