About the role
AHS Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting immediately in Rapid City, South Dakota.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure patient care coordination
Requirements
- Current state license to practice physical therapy
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in computer software, including Microsoft Office
Skills
- Skilled in assessment and treatment of orthopedic, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions
- Experience with manual therapy techniques
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations
