About the role

Travel Physical Therapist position in Denton, Texas at Medical City Denton (3535 South I-35 East, Denton, Texas 76210). This is a 13-week contract starting 09/14/2026 with a 40-hour work week on an 8-hour day shift (08:00 AM – 04:30 PM, Tuesday–Saturday).

Unit Details

• 205-bed Level II trauma center
• Staffing: 20 PTs, 12 OTs
• Patient ratio: 12 patients per day
• Equipment: Standard for rehab services
• EMR: Meditech
• Dress code: Hunter green scrubs

Floating coverage includes all areas of the hospital. Weekend requirement: one Saturday or Sunday shift per week.

Responsibilities

• Standard mobility and ADL-focused procedures
• Autonomous care with high accountability

Requirements

• Acute care experience (including clinical rotations while in school) – required
• Experience with complex trauma and complex neuro patients – preferred
• Licensed PT in the state of Texas

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
