Travel Physical Therapist - $1,923 per week

About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking a skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Burke, Virginia. This role involves evaluating and developing individualized treatment plans for patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting, with a focus on patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and physician directives.
• Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
• Educate patients, families, and coworkers on treatment methods and safety practices.
• Participate in developing a positive learning environment for students in clinical settings.
• Maintain professional licensure and adhere to ethical practices as outlined in the State Practice Act.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to improving service quality.
• Promote patient and employee safety in accordance with organizational guidelines.

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 2 years of outpatient clinical experience in orthopedic therapy is preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and valid state licensure for Physical Therapy.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a flexible 12-hour shift schedule, totaling 36 hours per week over 13 weeks.
