Responsibilities
- Evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction.
- Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients.
- Design functional treatment programs that facilitate an effective return to community activities.
- Complete comprehensive evaluations and utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
- Document patient care clearly, accurately, and timely in compliance with policies and procedures.
- Ensure care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approval.
- Participate in student programs as assigned, providing a positive learning environment with appropriate supervision.
- Create an individualized professional development plan and pursue continuous education and professional growth.
- Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
- Engage in performance improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of services provided.
Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
- 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in good standing.
