About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an outpatient assignment in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients, developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction. This role involves overseeing all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs aimed at achieving a successful return to community activities. The therapist will serve as an educator for patients, families, peers, and students, while also performing various professional duties related to patient care and program development.

Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, flexible
• 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift
• 13-week contract

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals
• Document patient care clearly, concisely, and in a timely manner, adhering to state and federal guidelines
• Ensure compliance with signed physician orders and insurance approvals
• Participate in student programs by providing supervision and feedback
• Create and pursue an individualized professional development plan
• Maintain professional licensure in good standing and fulfill continuing education requirements
• Actively contribute to performance improvement initiatives within the organization

Requirements

• 2 years of outpatient clinical experience
• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
• Current CPR certification
• Current and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Virginia

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
