About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in an inpatient physical therapy setting in Okeechobee, FL.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in an inpatient hospital setting.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy required.
- Active physical therapy experience within the last 6 months.
- Active PT license required if applicable.
- BLS certification required; AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start.
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration.
- Two professional references required due to Florida placement.
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.
Qualifications
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible.
- Local candidates will not be considered.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
