Travel Physical Therapist - $1,851 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. The position is a 13‑week assignment requiring 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts. Employment type is travel, with an immediate opening available.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team‑focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience (new graduates encouraged); 1 year preferred, with exceptional candidates accepted with 6 months
• Current BLS certification
• State‑specific Physical Therapist license
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, and to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
