About the role
Travel Physical Therapist (PT) responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing patient care plans in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and support PTAs and support staff
- Bill and document accurately following facility and insurance guidelines
- Collaborate with medical personnel to ensure coordinated care
- Assess patient needs, modify treatment plans accordingly
- Understand and utilize adaptive equipment
- Comply with state-specific regulations and PT board rules
- Use medical computer systems efficiently
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of recent experience; new grads encouraged to apply
- Current BLS certification
- State-specific licensure for practice
- Certifications may be required prior to assignment
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lean for extended periods
