Travel Physical Therapist - $1,820 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Pembroke Pines, Florida. This position offers 40 hours per week with an 8-hour day shift and is available for immediate start on 11/13/2026.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for various patient populations in the acute care setting.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
• Bill within the respective setting, following facility guidelines.
• Comply with the respective state’s PT board rules and regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
• Understand and recommend adaptive equipment.
• Modify the plan of care as indicated based on the patient’s condition.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods without difficulty.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications (e.g., ABPTS) may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
