Travel Physical Therapist - $1,513 per week

About the Role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Galloway, New Jersey. This role requires 30 hours per week, with 10-hour day shifts. The position is ideal for a Physical Therapist (PT) with at least 1 year of experience, though exceptional candidates with 6 months of experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for various patient populations in the acute care setting.
• Oversee and supervise PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
• Bill within the respective setting, adhering to facility guidelines.
• Understand and comply with the respective state PT board's rules and regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and its appropriate use.
• Modify the plan of care as indicated based on the patient's condition.
• Use Medical Center computer systems to perform daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of experience (new graduates are encouraged to apply).
• BLS certification and state-specific licensing.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods without difficulty.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 30 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
